OPPC Preschool is an outreach mission of Orange Park Presbyterian
Church that began in 1989 with 2 teachers and 5 children. Today the Preschool
has 14 classes with an enrollment of 175 children, 1 to 5 years of age.
OPPC Preschool provides a decidedly Christian environment
where each child has the opportunity to learn of God’s grace
and love through stories, music, art, prayer and interaction with
others.
Our curriculum is designed to help each child develop intellectually,
emotionally, physically, socially and spiritually. Children have daily
opportunities to learn new skills, reinforce previously learned skills,
problem solve, and develop the concept of responsibility for themselves
and for others.
Days and Hours of Operation:
1 day class is available for toddlers ( Tuesday, Wednesday,
Thursday)
2 day class meets Thursday and Friday
3 day class meets Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
5 day class ( 4 yr olds ) Monday - Friday
Preschool Hours: 9 am – 1:00 pm
Weekly Resource Programs include:
Chapel –Celebrates God’s love for us through songs, bible
stories, and monthly bible verse. Meets each Tuesday and Thursday mornings.
Music –Explores many types of music through songs,
dance and instruments, develops listening skills. Meets each Tuesday
and Thursday.
Jump-N-Learn – Helps to develop large motor skills-
skipping, jumping, throwing and catching. Introduces healthy habits – exercise, “eating
healthy growing foods”. Meets each Monday and Friday.
